Frequently Asked Questions
Can my buisness sponsor our team?
Absolutely! Your business (or any business, for that matter) may choose to sponsor a team and pay the team's league fee.
Where are the matches played?
All CCBL matches are played at our lighted, four-court bocce complex at Templeton Tennis Ranch, 345 Championship Lane, Templeton.
How many people can play together on a team?
A regular league team is recommended to have at least eight (8) registered players. There is no maximum number of team members.
What if I don't have enough people to form a team?
We can help! Individually, you can register as an Individual, or as a Small Group of two (2) to seven (7) players. In either case, we will add you to an existing team, or create a new team made up of Individuals and/or Small Groups.
What if not everyone on my team can make it each night?
Not a problem! You only need two players to play the match to avoid a forefit. Keep in mind, however, that come playoff time, only those players who played in at least half of your team's matches will be eligible to play during playoff matches.
What ages are appropriate to play Bocce?
At regular league matches beer and wine will be available for purchase and consumption on-site. For this reason, we recommend players be 21 or older. Any player under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent who is also registered as a player on the same team. All regular season players must be at least age 14.
I've never played Bocce before, do I need to take a lesson before joinging the league?
Not at all... Bocce is way too easy to require lessons!
Can I choose which night our team will play?
Current seasons are scheduled to play on Thursday nights. As more teams join the leage, we will add play on additional nights of the week.
Will there be food or drink during league play?
Yes! Beer, fine local wines, and other beverages will be availabe for purchase, along with a selection of tasty bites from The Wine Bar in the TTR Clubhouse. Courtside delivery is availble too! A $10 corkage fee will be charged for any outside wine brought in. No other outside alcohol is permitted.
